After a success-filled career spanning over forty-five years, in January 2020, I retired to pursue pursuits I wanted to do versus what I had to do. I ditched my alarm clock and began the practice of rising when I feel fully rested and retiring when I am tired. I took up writing to fill my time during the pandemic lockdowns. I am inquisitive, and as a result, my writing covers a wide variety of subjects. My earlier essays mainly focused on the pandemic and its impact on the way we live, work, and play. As life slowly returns to normal, the next normal, to be clear, I look forward to researching and writing on a wide range of topics. I love to travel, having visited over forty countries in the past twenty years. I’ll return to this passion in 2022 as borders reopen and restrictions diminish. When not travelling, I reside in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with my wife, Vera.
